Oceania Cruises has announced that it will name its new purpose-built cruise ship Marina. The cruise ship will be significantly larger than the rest of the cruise ships in its class measuring 65,000 tons with a passenger capacity of 1,260.
Open-seating dining will be offered in the restaurants onboard Marina meaning a more relaxed and informal approach to dining. Marina will also offer a variety of staterooms which will include 11 suites with their own outdoor whirlpools.
The first sailing for Marina is planned for autumn 2010 with a sister ship also planned to join her in July 2011.
